MARCOS (5) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by a long neck over 6f at Belmont Park. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looks well placed and a bold showing is expected. FLYING MARADONA (1) turned in a fine effort to score by one length at this track and distance when when resuming from a layoff last time out. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention. RISING FAME (7) missed the placings when resuming recently but was not too far from the winner when fifth over 6½f at Pinjarra Scarpside. Has never been out of the placings at this stage of the prep. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Winning claims on best figures. ARTIE'S STORM (3) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at this track, beaten 2. 75 lengths. Fitter so can figure in the finish.
