This looks easier than when the Charlie Appleby trained DISTANT STORM (4) finished third in the G3 Acomb Stakes at York last month. That performance can be upgraded given how hard he pulled early and it wouldn't surprise seeing him take another step forward. The improving STELLAR SUNRISE (8) landed a valuable York handicap tackling this trip last time. Deserves a step up in level and might prove the main danger. COMMANDER'S INTENT (3) finished second in the G3 Zukunfts-Rennen at Baden Baden earlier during the month. Wide-margin CATULLUS (2) retains plenty of potential.
