MAYWEATHER (5) returned for his second campaign with a plugging on pace fourth from the wide gate over 5½f at Hawkesbury. Finds a much weaker contest from the good stall. Will take holding out. RADIANT TIER (10) hardly set the world alight in three starts and resumes on her home track. Failed to finish when she bled over 6¾f at Wyong last April. Back with the one trial and look for a better performance. FORCE MARCH (2) finished close up in all three runs in the first prep and resumes with the searching 5f trial placing at this track. Ticks a few boxes and can get the Maiden win out of the way quickly this time in. ELSKA (6) comes here in peak condition fifth-up and has the speed to overcome the wide gate. Strong through the line when back in trip for a narrow second over 5f at Muswellbrook. Takes on a tougher assignment this time and can surprise some of her more fancied rivals.
