TACITLY (5) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Scone over 1m. Generally takes a sit but the draw makes it tricky. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp. VONDEL (10) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was always well out of her ground over 1m1/4f at Wyong, beaten 4 lengths into fifth. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. APPEARED (1) is an imported four-year-old having his first run in this area for the Bjorn Baker barn. Has been gelded since his last appearance. Has not raced since he finished off last campaign with a win over 1m4f at Curragh ten months ago. Placed in a recent trial so he is among the leading chances. SIR TUA (4) finished second last start over 1m at Goulburn when he made late ground, beaten one length. Taking on a better line-up this time but he cannot be ruled out.
