PLUME (4) did little and finished 4. 5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 5f at Kembla Grange last start after being in the firing line on the turn, a less impressive effort than her fourth on debut at Kembla Grange the run before. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. THE WAY AHEAD (5) made progress last time out, finishing 5. 5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 5f at Kembla Grange after being prominent at the bend. Looks well placed so expect another big run. TWOEXCEL (9) is a locally trained maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing in the placings over 4½f at Muswellbrook five months ago. Trialling well leading into this. One of the contenders. BIFURCATION (6) is back after a break of four-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff she finished sixth over 5¾f at Beaumont (Newcastle). Should present well following a recent trial win. Has ability and must be included in calculations.
