FIERCE (6) impressed when successful on debut over 5f at Hawkesbury five months ago and has not raced since. Has since been kept ticking over with a Warwick Farm trial win. Has plenty of upside and should go on with it. PLAY MY SONG (9) resumed two-and-a-half weeks ago over 5f at Muswellbrook and was only beaten 1. 75 lengths into fourth. Has a fair record when second up, including three top-three finishes. Leeshelle Small is a key engagement. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she deserves plenty of thought. EDGE OF MIDNIGHT (2) ran below expectations last time at Coffs Harbour over 6f, finishing 11th and beaten 6 lengths. Backmarker who keeps coming. Will prove tough to stop. PRINCESS CRUIZER (8) was beaten 3. 5 lengths into sixth over 5f at Gosford three weeks ago. Nicely placed to find some form.
