Back up 2lb and having won off much higher marks in the past may come out on top. BERGERAC (5) cannot be dismissed as a dual track and trip winner who carries a 4lb penalty for winning a 5f handicap at Hamilton in June. VINTAGE CLARETS (2) shaped nicely running fifth in a competitive 5f handicap at Epsom last time out, Might do well under a highly talented apprentice.
