CRYSTAL GLANCE (5) failed to land a hat-trick two starts back placing 1L second at Doncaster. Followed that performance with an under-par fifth at Aintree Boxing Day. Better expected. TREAD SOFTLY NOW (11) produced a 5.5L victory at Ayr tackling a similar trip. Interesting. MISTER SMARTY (10) holds course and distance form after scoring by 7.5L three runs ago. Failed to land a hat-trick contesting further at this venue. Might return to winning ways.
