ACROSS EARTH (7) has been climbing through the ranks this year. The 4. 5L winner of a Sandown contest in December narrowly failed to follow up subsequently. Another good performance is anticipated. HELNWEIN (1) raced admirably in a pair of top handicaps this term. Fair to say handicapper remains in charge however this is a drop in grade. CORNISH STORM (4) arrives on a hat-trick after a 3. 5L win at Warwick (heavy). Ben Jones retains the ride and there is every chance he can break away on the front again. SPIROU (6) maintains an interesting profile having made a successful start to hurdling in France late 2023. Outside chance if fit and ready.
