An open maiden hurdle by Navan standards where a tentative chance is taken on WHINNEY HILL (8) who comes out clear in the ratings and is a previous course winner. Disappointed when pulled up at Down Royal in latest however first time blinkers might bring about improvement. COYOTE SPIRIT (4) is the second of six runners for Gordon Elliott and the choice of Jack Kennedy. Fair form to date and must be respected. BLEU DU NEUF (1) wasn't disgraced on debut. Performed poorly at Ayr ten days ago. Making hurdle debut will warrant a market check. LENKO (10) is a newcomer for Gordon Elliott and closely related to the smart Chianti Classico. One to watch.
