INSTEAD (7) returned from a lay-off last start with a strong win by one length over 6½f at Bathurst. Will be better for that latest run and another win looks on the cards. MRS BULL (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Wellington, beaten 4 lengths into fourth. Nicely placed to take this out. KIRK (4) stuck on well last start to finish third over 7f at Wellington after showing good early speed. Ready to go a couple better. JOSHUA (9) did well to score two runs ago then turned in a nice run last time out when fourth over 1m1/2f at Cowra, beaten 1. 3 lengths. Well placed and can make amends.
