IMASTATEMENT (9) showed good early speed then led into the straight when fresh from a lay-off last start before fighting on to finish second, beaten a nose, over 5f at Dubbo. Will go forward again and looks tough to beat. ANTILLES (1) is back after a break of five-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 5½f at Ipswich. Now under the care of new trainer Cassandra Stummer. Has ability and should be right in the finish. INQUISITRIX (4) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Dubbo, beaten 4 lengths into seventh after being in the firing line on the corner. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is one of the key runners. HARRIETIER (2) resumes after ten months and looks forward enough following a comfortable Dubbo trial win. Expected to be competitive.
