ELSON BOY (6) is in great form, lifting strongly to score last start over 7f at Coonamble to make it two in succession. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Leading contender. GIDGEE GUY (13) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Beaumont (Newcastle). Couldn't follow that up last time out when seventh over 6½f at Orange, beaten 7 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. DEEL STREET (9) failed to run a strong 1m1/2f last start after a close third over 1m at Orange the run prior. Looks better placed over this shorter trip so deserves another chance. MOETTA (1) turned in a nice run when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Scone then missed the placings last time when 6 lengths from the winner in 12th over 5½f at Wellington. Likely improver who can feature in the finish.
