THE WAYFARER (2) missed the placings when resuming recently but was not too far from the winner when fourth over 4f190yards at Swan Hill. Should be poised just off the lead. Will prove tough to beat. MISS MOUSE (15) did little and finished 8 lengths from the winner in ninth over 6f at Echuca last start after being in the firing line on the turn, a less impressive effort than her fifth at Wangaratta the run before. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a major role. HI POPPY (12) faded late last time over 5f at Albury after showing good early speed, eventually finishing fourth. Hasn't broken through over this course and distance but has managed four minor placings. Winning claims on best figures. MIGHTY FEAT (3) finished 2.25 lengths from the winner in fifth last time out over 5f190yards at Albury on July 8. Has a win and two minor placings at this journey from four starts and is one of the better hopes.
