EXONUMIA (4) lifted strongly but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 5½f at Port Augusta. Ready to go one better. GARGANTUAN (1) was in the firing line all the way and fought on for second last start over 6f at Ballarat Synthetic, making it two minor placings in a row. Looks well placed this line-up so expect another big run. RIVAZZA (6) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 3 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m at Murray Bridge after being prominent at the turn. Finds an easier assignment and can take this out. VICTORY QUEEN (7) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when fourth over 7f at Mt Gambier, beaten 7 lengths. In the mix.
