JEWELS CAPTAIN (4) settled well back last start and never threatened when 7 lengths from the winner in seventh over 6f at Gawler. Has the talent to put the recent poor run behind him. BEL HOTESSE (7) is a 17-start maiden who was in the placings at her last two starts, finishing second at the latest appearance over 4½f at Mt Gambier. Finds a nice assignment and this might be her day. MARINER MISS (10) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she settled well back over 5f at Cranbourne, beaten 10 lengths into seventh. Won't find this as tough so she will be hard to beat. DRUMLARGEN (2) was sent forward last time out and boxed on to finish a head from the winner in third at Camperdown over 5f. Will be in this for a long way.
