LAPILLI (2) last appeared when seventh over 1m at Morphettville nine weeks ago. Capable of playing a major role. LONELY ONE (1) finished fourth over 5½f at Horsham when resuming last start, beaten only 1.3 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Strips fitter and can figure prominently. AVANZO (4) accounted for a maiden field over 5¼f at Kingscote last start, finishing a long neck ahead of the nearest rival. Isaac Sit was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders. EMERALD COURT (5) was beaten 3 lengths into seventh over 4½f at Murray Bridge three-and-a-half weeks ago. Better than recent efforts suggest.
