DR HOOK (1) is a talented colt who was well held last time out in the tougher race won by Campione D'italia over 7f at Randwick, beaten 26 lengths into 12th. This looks a more suitable assignment. PRIORY PARK (3) showed good early speed last start on debut but felt the pinch late and finished fourth, beaten 2. 25 lengths, over 5½f at Hawkesbury. Will be very hard to beat with that run under the belt. PORTICO (2) is a two-start maiden who was unplaced on debut then improved to finish third last time over 5f at Hawkesbury, beaten 0. 6 lengths. Will drift back but wind up late. Big chance to break through. FINAL GIFT (9) could only manage to finish fifth, beaten 5 lengths, at his latest appearance over 5f at Wyong after he was well back on straightening. Among the better chances in what looks a nice race.
