OUTBACK RINGER (7) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 6 lengths away in eighth over 5f at this track. This is a nice drop in grade so he is a major player. IRON HAT (3) continued the good recent form when he finished just 0.8 lengths away in third last time out over 5f at this track. Deserves to break through and gets his chance to break through. IN SPADES (8) did little and finished 3 lengths from the winner in sixth over 5f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than her fifth at Taree the run before. Perfectly placed and is sure to be there at the finish. DEBUSSY (4) could only manage seventh two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 5f at Tuncurry, beaten just a nose. Nicely placed to maintain the form.
