DE LUCA (3) started at 6/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 6 lengths at this track over 5f. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. QUEEN OF A HAND (7) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 1.1 lengths over 4f at Coffs Harbour. Looks well placed and she should be in the finish again. GOGMAGOG (1) has a moderate winning strike-rate but did a good job when returning from a break last time at Wyong, finishing fourth and only 2.25 lengths from the winner at the end of 5f after being in the firing line on the corner. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. KANTISHNA (5) had a bit on her rivals when resuming last time out, scoring an impressive 2.75 lengths maiden win over 5f at Tamworth. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Christian Reith was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped.
