ROUGE ANGEL (9) turned in a solid debut over 4f65yards at Gatton last start, finishing fifth and beaten only 1. 4 lengths. Shows promise and can measure up again. MILITARY LEGEND (7) went forward last time and looked a chance on the corner but faded to finish seventh over 7f at Gold Coast. Well placed on this occasion and gets her chance to break the ice. TORQUE SO HOT (1) resumes from a lay-off of six months. Could only manage to finish fourth at the latest run over 6½f at Lismore. Has trialled well leading into this. Rates highly and is a chance to break through. AKKU (3) was beaten 1. 4 lengths into sixth over 7f at Sunshine Coast Poly three-and-a-half weeks ago. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
