KALKANLI (6) did a good job last start to finish second at Lismore over 1m2 1/2f, beaten 0. 6 lengths. Should be at his peak now. Hasn't been far away this time in work with two minor placings from four starts. Should prove tough to beat. PIERRE CARDINNIGAN (2) closed off strongly last start to get up for third, beaten 1. 1 lengths, over 1m at Grafton. The addition of blinkers should see a bold run. SPILL THE SECRET (1) had been performing well until racing below his best last time when sixth over 1m2 1/2f at Lismore. Should camp just off the leaders. Not to be discounted.
