METCALFE (4) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 1.5 lengths back in fourth over 1m2 1/4f at Doomben. Likely to measure up. JUNE (1) did a good job last time, finishing in the money when second over 1m1f at Sunshine Coast. Won't find this as tough. Well placed so expecting a strong run. MOANA KOHALA (6) broke her maiden last start over 1m1/4f at Grafton, scoring by 0.7 lengths. Luke Rolls was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. This is tougher but she cannot be underestimated. KING'S WARRIOR (3) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Toowoomba, beaten 37 lengths into tenth. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
