SINGULAR (4) stepped up in trip to 7f last time at Gatton and ran below his best, finishing 6 lengths away in sixth. Kept fresh since that last run so should prove tough to beat. LUCKY NEKO (11) was quickly into stride over 7f at Casino last time and defied all challengers to score by 1.3 lengths. Enjoys a drop in grade so she is a major player. MOET AT MIDNIGHT (17) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 17 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when seventh over 6½f at Toowoomba, beaten 8 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention. SUPERZOOM (6) was in the money two starts back at Ballina but was unable to repeat the effort last time when tenth, beaten 4.5 lengths, at Warwick over 6¾f. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
