EAGLE'S FIRE (3) hasn't won recently but looks close to a breakthrough based on his last start second at Beaudesert over 5½f when beaten 1.3 lengths. This looks a nice race for him to return to the winners' stall. RUSTIC TZAR (6) got off the mark over 5½f at Lismore last start, scoring by 0.7 lengths. Re-unites with Andrew Mallyon who was on board last start. Big chance to go back-to-back. EXOREALM (7) was always well out of his ground when 4 lengths from the winner in ninth over 5½f at Port Macquarie last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Grafton the run before. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. LASER BEAM (8) went forward over 5½f at Lismore last time but found a couple better. Has the pace to take up a good early position from the favourable alley. Not to be discounted.
