BONAVEE (3) is fitter for two runs back from a lay-off, progressing nicely last time to finish second, beaten a head, at Grafton over 5f. Among the winning hopes. ROMI (6) finished third last time out over 5f at Grafton, making it six career minor placings. Has a good record at this distance with six top-three results from 10 starts. Should park just off the speed. Deserves respect on best figures.
