Race Tip

AMICAL (1) is a two-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 2. 75 lengths when fourth over 6f at Balaklava. Fitter and capable of taking this out. MR VEXATIOUS (5) finished 3 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 5¼f at Morphettville, an improvement on his eighth at this track the run before. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. MY CHERIE AMOR (8) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6f at Balaklava, beaten only 1. 1 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Looks well placed so expect another big run. IMPENDING FURY (3) finished fifth over 1m1f at Clare at his most recent appearance on February 13. Now under the care of new trainer Sarah Rutten. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
