CAPTAIN HAPPY (1) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 4½f at this track in a tougher race. Sure to take a lot from that hitout so he shouldn't be a maiden for long. LAWS WARS (2) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 6f at Gawler when third, beaten 6 lengths. Has plenty of upside so he will prove tough to beat. ELEGANT LILLY (9) produced a fair effort on debut last time out when 4.5 lengths from the winner in sixth at this track over 4½f. One of the main contenders. KALMANA (5) stepped out for his debut over 5½f at this track back on March 8 and finished ninth, beaten 9 lengths. Better for that run and can improve sharply.
