TOMMY (1) has been kept fresh since finishing fifth over 1m2 1/4f at Moonee Valley. Kept up to the mark with a recent Ballarat trial win. Better than last start suggests and looks hard to beat. PROVEN CORRECT (3) did well to score at Morphettville Parks two runs ago. Decent effort last time out when prominent at the corner before finishing second over 1m1 3/4f at Morphettville Parks, beaten half a length. Yet to miss the placings from four starts at this track. Enjoys a drop in grade so he is a leading contender. HANGYOURHAT (8) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.75 lengths away in fifth last time out over 7f131yards at Geelong. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. PRICKLY POPPY (10) turned things around last start and got the job done by 3.5 lengths over 1m1f at this track. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake.
