GARRIRE (8) backs up three days after he was well-supported at Port Augusta and finished third over 7½f. Inside draw will assist and should be in the finish. OUR DIVINYL (6) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when sixth, beaten 9 lengths, over 7½f at Gawler. Faces an easier assignment so he is sure to be prominent. ALFANO (1) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish seventh over 6f at this track. Was outdashed but got going late and the longer journey looks ideal. Must be included. BASE OF FIRE (5) was in the money two starts back at Gawler but couldn't back it up last time when tenth, beaten 12 lengths, at Gawler over 6f. Nicely placed to turn things around.
