CURRUMBIN ALLEY (3) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 5½f at Quirindi. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. HELEN'S WAY (1) pushed forward from a wide draw when fresh from a lay-off last time out and was prominent for a long way before fading to finish sixth over 6f at Gosford. Expected to be in this for a long way. THE CONTRACTOR (5) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 6 lengths back in third over 6f at Bathurst. In the right race and is a key runner. UNREAL EXPECTATION (2) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 7f at Bathurst, beaten 3 lengths. Fitter for that run. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish.
