GIVING DELIGHT (10) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6¾f at Merriwa, beaten only 0.8 lengths. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to figure in the finish. RAJNISH (8) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 5 lengths when tenth over 7f at Randwick three weeks ago. Finds an easier assignment and can turn things around. MEDINAH (11) did little and finished 9 lengths from the winner in 13th over 6f at Kembla Grange last start, a less impressive effort than his sixth at Newcastle the run before. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done. SMART SHOT (3) finished second last start over 6¾f at Merriwa, beaten half a length. Will be rock-hard fit. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
