Can do much better in this more suitable race. BOLD DESIGN (8) showed good early pace last time and battled on gamely to finish just a long neck from the winner in third over 5½f at Port Macquarie. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SMOKE ON THE WATER (4) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second when resuming last time out over 6f at Tamworth. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. CROOK (12) scored last start at Wellington to make it two wins from four starts this campaign. Should camp just off the leaders. Deserves respect on best figures.
