EXTRAVAGENT LAD (2) has been a regular in the winners' stall of late including last start in dominant fashion over 5f at Queanbeyan. Winning rider Matthew Cahill retains the mount. Looks well placed so expect another big run. SMART AND DAPPER (4) ran fourth at his latest appearance over 6½f at Orange, clocking in 0.8 lengths from the winner as favourite. Ticks all the right boxes. SCOPICS (11) finished off last campaign with a 15th over 6½f at Rosehill on August 17 and has since switched yards. Looks forward enough following a trial win. Goes very well when fresh from a lay-off, scoring on two occasions from four starts. Expected to be in the finish. WATCH ME RUMBLE (6) settled well back then came home powerfully to score by 1.2 lengths over 5½f at Narromine last time out. Can figure in the finish.
