BLIND EYE (6) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when seventh, beaten 13 lengths, over 5½f at Mountaineer Park (Dirt). Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. HOT WINGS (8) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 1m at Mountaineer Park, beaten 19 lengths. That followed a win at Mahoning Valley at the previous outing. Won't find this as tough so he can recapture winning form. GEMSTONE WARRIOR (2) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing seventh at Gulfstream Park All Weather (Synthetic) over 1m1/4f. Finds a suitable assignment and can make amends. BORIS BADENOV (4) recorded his first win last start over 6f at Mountaineer Park (Dirt), getting home by 6 lengths. Re-unites with Y Yaranga who was on board last start. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade.
