CUTLASS KING (7) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 1m1/4f at Fairmount Park, beaten 10 lengths into seventh. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is a major player. NEW YEAR SURPRISE (2) is poised to win after placing at his last three outings, most recently when third over 1m at Hawthorne (Turf) when he was prominent throughout. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SKY KEY (9) built on a nice second two starts back at Belterra Park (Dirt) with success over 1m at Mahoning Valley (Dirt) a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 1. 5 lengths. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. GAMBLING TZAR (11) lines up for the first time since June 20. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1m1/4f at Monmouth Park. Has switched to the Juan C Vazquez stable. Can make his presence felt.
