SAN ANDREAS (10) turned in a moderate debut over 6f at Santa Anita (Turf) on June 7 when he was safely held in tenth, 15 lengths from the winner. Worth noting L A Batista has been engaged. Will take a lot from that experience. Top-three chance. CHARLICITO (3) is a 15-start maiden who has been in the money eight times, Could only manage fourth last time out when resuming over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Yet to miss the top-three in two runs at this venue. Must be respected.
