BAREBACK FUN (3) got the prize two runs ago at Mahoning Valley. Less impressive last time out when fifth over 6f at Mahoning Valley, beaten 12 lengths. Erik Barbaran gets the best out of this eight-year-old mare. Ideally placed and is sure to be there at the finish. CLAIRE'S DARLING (1) finished third over 5½f at this track (Dirt) at her most recent appearance on December 10. Makes plenty of appeal. GREEN GABLES (5) is back after a break of 12 weeks. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 5½f at Woodbine. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
