SOMESUGARNSPICE (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Charles Town, beaten 8 lengths into sixth. Finds the right race this time and can take this out. MACHEN MARGARITAS (6) is a four-year-old filly who is having her first run for the J Michael Baird stable. Hasn't raced since finishing seventh at Charles Town (Dirt) 12 weeks ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but is in a nice race. Expected to be in the finish. S S COSMOPOLITAN (4) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on January 4 finishing eighth and beaten 20 lengths over 6½f at Charles Town (Dirt). Makes plenty of appeal. S S FLAMINGO (1) turned in a fine effort to score by 0.1 lengths at this course and distance when when resuming from a break last start. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot repeat the dose.
