Hard to beat in this suitable race. SHE SMASHES (3) improved sharply on her fourth two starts back at Alpha with success as public elect over 5f at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by a head after being in contention on the corner. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot repeat the dose. LAST DITCH EFFORT (6) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when fourth over 5½f at Julia Creek a week-and-a-half ago. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including two wins. Going up a level this time but he deserves another chance.
