SHE SMASHES (2) is a four-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Bevan Johnson yard. Most recently finished in the placings at Pakenham Synthetic before going for a break. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Should feature in the finish. MANIC LIGHT (4) did a good job last time, finishing in the money when third over 7f at Tara. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Will give backers a great sight. CORVALIST (3) turned in a fine effort to win by 2. 5 lengths at this course and distance last time out to continue his outstanding recent form. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat again in this suitable race.
