DANTOOINE (7) showed good early speed then led into the straight when fresh from a lay-off last start before fighting on to finish second, beaten a nose, over 6f at Ballarat. Will go forward again and looks tough to beat. EL PASO CITIE (3) made progress last start to finish third over 6f at Naracoorte. Meets some better types this time but another big run is on the cards. ARTISSI (10) caught the eye last start over 6f at Balaklava, coming from the tail and running on strongly to score by a nose. Is going okay this campaign, recording two wins and three minor placings from six starts. Capable of going well. BECAUSEYOU'RE MINE (9) pushed forward from a wide draw last time and found the front, leading around the bend but capitulating to finish eighth over 6f at Terang. Can give backers a sight.
