LIGHT OF ROSE (3) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished 11th when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Warracknabeal then improved and scored over 5½f at Warrnambool two weeks ago, getting home by 1.3 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. HOT OFF (5) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when 14th over 5½f at Morphettville. THISISMYTURF (1) finished out of the money two starts back then he settled well back and was beaten 7 lengths when eighth in a 7¼f contest at Geelong two weeks ago. Yet to miss the frame in two starts over this course and distance. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. I CATCHEM FOX (2) is a handy type who resumes after a break of 11 weeks. Only appeared once last prep when he finished tenth over 5½f at Murray Bridge, beaten 8 lengths. Fitter for a recent trial win. Settles back early but winds up late. Don't underestimate.
