EASY CAMPESE (1) last appeared when fourth over 7½f at Gawler three-and-a-half months ago. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. CHIPSON (2) was impressive last time over 7f at Murray Bridge, scoring by 2 lengths. Comes down a level this time. Better placed this time and is a genuine threat. CAPTAIN JOOLIAN (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6¼f at Morphettville Parks, beaten 3.5 lengths into eighth. Has the talent to produce a better result. EMERALD REWARD (3) drifted well back last start before storming home to score by a head over 6f at Naracoorte. Has a formidable record at this journey with two wins and three placings from six starts and is one of the better hopes.
