LUV THE BOOL (2) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.75 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1m1/4f at Werribee after being in contention on the bend. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. DANTOOINE (4) finished fourth two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1m at Camperdown, beaten only one length. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. BY NINE (7) is back from a lay-off of six months. Closed last campaign with a minor placing over 1m2f at Kembla Grange. Lines up. For the first time for trainer leighton colgrave. Worth plenty of thought. SALSBURY HILL (6) built on a nice second two starts back at Hamilton with a win over 1m at Camperdown two weeks ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths. Likely to be in the finish again.
