MAKHACHEV (5) showed good early dash and led for most of the way before fading to finish 3 lengths away in fifth over 7f at Gundagai. Expected to measure up again. FARSAIN (9) is yet to break through in five runs. Finished seventh after being prominent at the turn at her last appearance over 6f at Kembla Grange on April 29. Finds a suitable assignment this time and is a great chance to break through. SETTA ICON (7) finished second over 6f at Sapphire Coast in a then missed the frame last time out over 6½f at Kembla Grange. Will drift back but wind up late. Suited here and can feature with even luck. FARNANHEIT (1) turned in a strong run last time when he settled well back before running on hard to be beaten only a nose into second over 5f at Queanbeyan. Can figure in the finish again.
