BEAU ROCK (5) got the prize two runs ago at Sapphire Coast. Couldn't follow that up last time out when tenth over 6f at Queanbeyan, beaten 5 lengths. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. MERCHANT REIGN (7) failed to run a strong 6½f last start after a close third over 6f at Sapphire Coast the run prior. Appeals back in trip this time so can atone. ARABIAN SOO (4) finished 3.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 5f at Sapphire Coast after being in contention on the bend two weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Can play a big role. SASSEN (12) is back at the races for the first time since February 13. Scored over 5f at Sapphire Coast at the start of last prep. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
