BLANDFORD BARON (1) was well held in the won by Calamari Ring over 5f at Flemington at his last appearance six-and-a-half months ago. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Expecting a bold showing. NEVEU (2) has not appeared since racing on the speed on debut and finishing second over 5f at Morphettville Parks on March 14. Fitter for a trial win at Morphettville. Will be better for that race experience and should be in the finish. ARIZONA DREAMER (4) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing a head from the winner in second over 5¼f at Balaklava. Expected to feature with improvement to come. PRETTY BABY (5) raced once in the maiden campaign when fourth in the LR Cinderella Stakes at this track over 5¼f back on February 21. Will take a lot from that last run and is worth following up.
