WIND RUSH (3) finished tenth when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found a couple better over 6¼f at this track, beaten only a long neck. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SPARKLING LUCK (2) hit the frame two starts ago at Cranbourne but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 3. 5 lengths over 7f at Pakenham. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. MRS SECOMBE (8) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 13 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when 11th over 7½f at Gawler, beaten 14 lengths. Must raise the bar but she has the talent to test this line-up. LISELLE'S LUCK (11) showed good early dash last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing 3. 5 lengths away in second over 7f at Murray Bridge. Should give backers a sight again.
