SOMEWHERE SOON (5) missed the placings two runs back then was always well out of her ground last start when 3. 5 lengths away in sixth over 1m1 1/2f at Oakbank. This is a nice drop in grade so she is set to turn things around. EMPRESS OF THE SUN (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2 1/2f at Sandown-Lakeside, beaten 2. 5 lengths into sixth after being in the firing line on the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. ALAINGE (4) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2 3/4f at Oakbank, beaten 4 lengths into fifth. The engagement of Sairyn Fawke is a positive move. Nicely placed to find some form.
